Student Dress Code ​

At Camira State School we have an agreed standard of dress for the students who attend our school. The Dress Code goes beyond the agreed standards of specified items of clothing (including uniform, shoes and hats) to expectations of other aspects of personal presentation of students (including bags, hair, jewellery and body art). This code is endorsed by the school’s P&C.

School Bell Times 

At Camira State School we value punctuality, our bell times are important to us and we ask parents and students to be vigilant in following the allocated times. We ask that students do not arrive at school before 8.20 am as there is no supervision of students in the mornings.

First Bell: 8:45am

Second Bell: 8:50am

Session 1: 8:50am - 10:50am

Play Time: 10:50am - 11:10am

Eating Time: 11:10am - 11:25am

Session 2: 11:25am - 1:25pm

Eating Time: 1:25pm - 1:35pm

Play Time: 1:35pm - 1:55pm

Session 3: 2:00pm - 2:50pm

Playground Rules / Expectations
It is important for students to be clear about the rules that are in place for the different play areas around our school. Each play area has a list of specific rules.
Sun Protection Policy
Staff at our school realise the need to protect children's skin and educate them about SunSmart behaviour, thus reducing their risk of skin damage and exposure to the sun.​​
