Camira State School
requests that no students be on site before 8:15am daily. There is no
supervision of students in the morning and our aim is to have students arrive
at school fresh and ready for learning. You will note that many of our staff
arrive early in the mornings, this time is their own time but is used for
preparation to ensure your children have engaging and fun learning each day. We thank you kindly for your support with this
request.
8.15am Supervised activities are available in the following areas:
Prep and Year 1: Tuckshop Area
Year 2: Outdoor Learning Area
Year 3 and Year 4: Hall Annex
Year 5 and Year 6: Senior Undercover Area
8.35am First Bell - all students to stop play, get a drink, go to the toilet and line up in their line up areas (same as break times). Prep students will be escorted to their classrooms by their class Teacher Aides. Years 1 - 6 will be escorted to their classrooms by their class teacher.
8.50am Second Bell - Learning time commences.
10.50am First Break - Students go out to play.
11.05am Students stop play and move to eating areas.
11.20am First Bell - end of eating time.
11.25am Second Bell - Learning time commences.
1.25pm Second Break - Students go out to play. No designated eating time.
Students should eat in their year level areas if they wish to eat at
this break.
1.55pm First Bell - Students to stop play and return to class.
2.00pm Second Bell - Learning time commences.
2.50pm End of day bell. Students are released in an orderly fashion from
classrooms.
